About the Company

HeyDrew is the tax strategy and execution platform built for small business owners tired of overpaying the IRS. Most CPAs only look backward, filing what already happened. We look forward: our AI identifies every strategy you qualify for, then a real team gets it done with you, all year long, not just at tax time. We're not a filing service, and we don't hand you a list of strategies and wish you luck. Every client gets a dedicated Tax Team that explains each strategy in plain language, backed by a licensed EA who owns every number and sign-off. No jargon, no guesswork, just real savings, done right. Ready to stop losing money to avoidable taxes? HeyDrew is your team.

About the role

We're looking for a Growth Marketer to own how our marketing runs and grows — from strategy through to execution across channels. You'll set the direction, build and run the campaign calendar, and turn plans into shipped work across content, ads, and social. This is a role for someone who can think in strategy and funnels but is equally comfortable getting into the operational detail and making sure things actually get done.

Key responsibilities

  • Own initiative management, the campaign calendar, and channel execution end to end — planning what ships, when, and where, and making sure it happens.

  • Develop marketing and growth strategy, then translate it into concrete campaigns, initiatives, and priorities.

  • Set content direction, briefing and guiding content, ads, and social output so it aligns with strategy and brand.

  • Manage vendors and agency relationships — briefing, coordinating, reviewing, and holding to standard delivery.

  • Communicate strategy and scope clearly to leadership and vendors, so everyone understands the "what" and the "why".

  • Run marketing operations — tools, processes, tracking, and reporting that keep marketing organized and measurable.

  • Plan and manage campaigns across content, paid ads, and social from concept through to results, and run A/B tests to improve performance.

  • Set and track KPIs (e.g. CAC, ROAS, conversion, engagement, pipeline) and report on performance to leadership.

  • Own the growth funnel — awareness through acquisition, activation, and retention — and identify where to focus for the biggest impact.

  • Plan and manage the marketing budget across channels (paid social, search, and others) and vendors, keeping spend accountable to results.

  • Manage the work of creative and content contractors (e.g., content designer, video creator) to keep a steady pipeline of on-brand work.

What you bring

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in growth or performance marketing, ideally with team or vendor management

  • Strong strategist who can also execute — comfortable scaling a marketing function from an early stage and owning both the plan and the delivery, communicating the vision clearly to stakeholders

  • Hands-on experience running campaigns across content, SEO, paid ads, and social, with a track record of measurable results

  • Experience managing vendors — clear briefings, coordinating work, and upholding standards

  • Experience setting KPIs, reading analytics, and making decisions from the numbers

  • Experience with Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads; TikTok Ads is a nice-to-have

  • Analytics & tracking: GA4 and platform-native analytics; attribution and dashboarding tools

  • Lifecycle/email marketing, marketing ops & automation: GoHighLevel (GHL); and email/CRM platform (e.g. HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp)

  • Project & campaign management: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), or similar (Asana, Notion, Trello)

  • Experience with Impact.com for affiliate and referral management

  • Familiarity with directing creative and video output

  • Experience in a startup environment is a strong preference
