MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented, entry-level Government Accounting Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Analyst to join our team. This is an entry level position.


The Government Accounting Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Analyst supports various DCAA or DCMA audits and reviews and internal reviews or projects associated with ensuring compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and other applicable USG reporting requirements.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Providing DCAA/DCMA audit support for Incurred Cost Submissions, Cost Impacts, Forward Pricing, and Disclosure Statements.
  • Providing DCAA audit support for system reviews
  • Performing internal reviews and monitoring for compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CAS.
  • Assisting with the monitoring of indirect rates and providing monitoring results to DCMA.
  • Creating, maintaining, and editing internal documents in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint using advanced techniques
  • Performing Labor Floorchecks which involves interviewing employees for compliance with MANTECH’s Labor Policies and Procedures

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting with up to 1 year of hands-on day-to-day accounting experience 
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Must understand the auditing process
  • Must be able to prepare documentation in support of audit requests 
  • Must have good problem-solving skills as it relates to reviewing audit documentation for adequacy prior to submission 
  • Must be able to multi-task and juggle competing priorities
  • Excellent people skills, with experience coordinating and collaborating in a matrixed organization.

 

Clearance Requirements:


  • Must be a US Citizen.

Physical Requirements:


  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. 

 


The projected compensation range for this position is $54,700.00-$90,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.  In addition, MANTECH invests in its employees beyond just compensation.  MANTECH’s benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, short-term and long-term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections.
