The Role

As a (Senior) Solutions Engineer for Integrations, you will serve as the vital technical bridge between our rapidly expanding cloud ecosystem and our clients' complex enterprise IT networks. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of client integration lifecycles, acting as an expert technical consultant for our users and a vital strategic collaborator for our internal Product and Engineering divisions.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Lead customer integration lifecycles from initial technical scoping and solution architecture through to development, testing, deployment, and long-term user adoption.
• Technical Evaluation: Analyze and assess client software setups, data pipelines, business processes, and target interfaces to design optimized technical roadmaps.
• Solution Architecture: Design resilient connection frameworks using REST APIs, webhooks, EDI protocols, file-based data transfers, third-party applications, and tailored customer workflows.
• Prototyping & Development: Hands-on design, configuration, and prototyping of integration components using Python, working directly with core Engineering to safely deploy them to production.
• AI-Assisted Engineering: Seamlessly weave modern AI development environments (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) into your daily routine to accelerate architectural reviews, generate clean code, and draft technical documentation rapidly.
• Performance Monitoring: Review system performance and connection stability post-launch, gather continuous client feedback, and drive proactive product and process enhancements.

Your Profile

We are seeking an analytical, collaborative, and tech-savvy professional who excels working autonomously and enjoys solving complex architecture puzzles in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Core Experience: 3+ years of proven success in a client-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or Sales Engineer), ideally within a fast-moving startup or scale-up environment.
• Language Skills: Complete professional fluency in both German (C1+) and English (C1+) is mandatory for corporate collaboration and customer-facing consulting.
• Integration Protocols: Complete mastery of APIs, webhooks, modern system communication architectural patterns, and system-to-system data exchange.
• Data & Enterprise Ecosystems: Thorough understanding of structured EDI and XML data standards (such as EDIFACT, ZUGFeRD, ebInterface). Foundational experience working alongside major enterprise platforms like SAP, DATEV, Microsoft Dynamics, or Sage.
• Programming Skills: Confident ability to read, interpret, and write Python code for prototyping, validation, and deployment configurations.
• AI Tooling Literacy: A strong natural affinity for AI agents and developer toolsets, backed by a track record of using them to optimize personal output.

• Prior industry exposure to the construction, logistics, or transportation sectors.

Compensation & Financial Framework

• Base Salary: Up to €80,000 gross p.a. (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
