Fund Accounting Senior Associate

Fund Accounting Senior Associate

Your key responsibilities are to deliver white glove service and honor the FSG Principles while:

• Reviewing the accounting, investor reporting, audit, and tax deliverables for private funds
• Reviewing and verifying fund accounting data in the CRM and Investor Portals
• Coordinating investment and operating transactions for private funds
• Compiling accounting and investment data for regulatory reports such as 13-F and Form ADV
• Preparing subscription and investment documentation for private funds
• Assisting in training and developing new team members during onboarding    

Our requirements for you as an applicant are simple:

• Experience (3-6 years) with private equity or private fund accounting
• Developing understanding of GAAP and basic understanding of tax concepts specific to private funds
• Familiarity with key concepts such as free calculations, capital activities, and operational best practices
• Be a team player with an enthusiastic work ethic
• Learn all we teach you quickly, comprehensively, and enthusiastically
• Be exceptional in your organizational and written communication skills 
• Have exacting attention to detail
• Be exemplary in prioritization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Base salary commensurate with experience and success: The annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000
• Quarterly bonus that offers unlimited potential growth - 1/3rd of our profits (no matter how much) are shared with our team in bonuses each quarter

We are primarily a remote work company, but some of the training for this role may be best delivered in-person leveraging client sites or local coworking locations. Our clients also ask us to provide on-site support from time-to-time. In the interview process, we can outline expectations about what, if any, in-person training or support time is expected to be required for this role.
