Functional SAP Consultant

This Software Engineer position is for a Functional SAP resource with expertise in ERP implementations for SAP Material Management in Direct Procurement in Automotive / Manufacturing industry focusing in the area of requisitioning to ordering process.  The position includes both new development and prod support activities within the IERP Program.  Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. 

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Business partners (Product Owners) to deliver application changes 

• Perform requirements gathering, Business Analysis, Fit Gap Analysis, System Testing, Documentation (FDD and TDD) and End User Training

• Create Use cases, user stories and other requirements/specifications artifacts

• Provide functional specifications and work with Software Engineers (ABAP, PCF, Fiori)

• Conducting and support testing on SAP platform – Functional, Security, Integration, User Acceptance

• Support cutover, data profiling, extraction, cleansing activities

• Ability to perform configuration

• Analyze integration requirements and work with legacy non SAP systems

• Production support of launched functionality

Qualifications

                   Qualifications: 

• 10+  years of IT experience

• 6+  years of functional experience with following SAP modules – Material Management covering processes from Requisitioning to ordering (with purchase orders or scheduling agreements), Directed Tier 2, Sub-contracting, Intra-Company

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or Related Field

• Experienced in at least 1 full life cycle of S4 HANA and Fiori implementation

• Experience with S4 HANA and Fiori implementation

• Experience in hands-on and root-cause analysis skills 

• Highly motivated team member with good interpersonal and strong communication skills

   

  Preferred Qualifications: 

   

• Familiar with ABAP

• Relevant SAP Certification
• Experience in Automotive / Manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of Ariba Sourcing and Supply Chain Collaboration and integrations with S/4 integration

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.     
 

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
