About the project
We are looking for a Full-Stack TypeScript Developer to join the Forecast / Economics Teams working on a cloud-based SaaS product in the oil and energy domain. You will build highly responsive interfaces, develop reliable backend solutions, and contribute to product functionality where domain understanding supports better technical decisions.
Your area of responsibility
- Architecting and developing features across the entire application stack using TypeScript;
- Building and maintaining complex, data-heavy user interfaces with React, MUI, and React Hook Form;
- Designing and implementing type-safe APIs using Node.js, Express.js, and tRPC;
- Designing and optimizing MongoDB schemas and queries to handle large volumes of structured data;
- Delivering features from technical scoping to production release;
- Ensuring quality through testing, CI/CD, containerization, and code review;
- Collaborating with domain experts to translate complex business logic into robust software solutions.
Skills and requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience, primarily with the MERN/TypeScript stack;
- Expert proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, including advanced types and strict-mode configurations;
- Strong production experience with React, Material UI (MUI), and complex form logic (React Hook Form);
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and implementing end-to-end type safety via tRPC;
- Practical knowledge of MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and aggregation pipelines for complex data structures;
- Experience delivering full-stack features in cloud-based SaaS products;
- Strong testing skills for both frontend components and backend APIs;
- Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, and Docker;
- Strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Will be a plus
- Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, ZingChart);
- Production experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure);
- Familiarity with forecasting models, economics, or petroleum engineering concepts (e.g., decline curve analysis);
- Exposure to LLM APIs or agent frameworks and AI-powered product features.
