DESCRIPTION:
Join our purpose-driven team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Recruiter II and contribute to global healthcare, environmental protection, and scientific innovation. You'll partner with hiring managers to attract and secure qualified talent across diverse functions including manufacturing, operations, commercial, R&D, and corporate roles. This position offers an opportunity to manage full-cycle recruitment while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
Working in a dynamic, collaborative environment, you'll develop effective sourcing strategies, conduct competency-based interviews, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You'll leverage modern recruitment technologies and best practices to identify and engage qualified candidates while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. This role allows you to contribute to our talent acquisition strategies while serving as an ambassador of our culture built on Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree, no prior experience required, or Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
• Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Human Resources, or related field
• Additional HR/recruiting certifications preferred
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools, Workday preferred
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies including social media, Boolean search, and direct approach methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in clinical research, pharma/biotech, or life sciences industry preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance regulations
• Ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority
• Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Language requirements vary by location - fluent English required, additional languages may be needed
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• May require up to 10-15% travel
