FP &A Infusion Senior Finance Manager

The US Oncology Network is looking for a Remote Healthcare Senior FP & A Finance Manager - Texas Oncology Infusion Services to join our team.  This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, partner closely with senior leadership, and drive meaningful business impact in a complex healthcare  envorionment.  Must currently reside in Texas.  Preferred locations include Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.

Sites Include: Infusion Sites Statewide

Travel: This position is fully remote with up to 25% travel for key meetings.

What does the Senior FP & A Finance Manager - Infusion do?

The Senior FP & A Finance Manager - Infusion is the product‑line finance partner for Texas Oncology’s Infusion Services. This role supports the Infusion P&L through hands‑on analytics, reporting, and decision support. The Finance Manager helps develop KPI frameworks, prepares forecasts and long‑range plan inputs, builds Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and translates complex operational and drug‑cost dynamics into clear, actionable insights. The role works closely with Region Finance Leaders, Operations, and the TxO FP&A Director to ensure a consistent view of performance and to inform local and enterprise decisions.  Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. 

The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Support the Infusion product‑line P&L analytics: forecasting, budgeting, LRP inputs, variance analysis, and driver‑based modeling.
• Build and maintain driver‑based models to support forecasting and long‑range plan (LRP) inputs for the Infusion product line.
•  Provide concise narratives that explain results and highlight risks/opportunities; align assumptions with regional finance partners.

KPI Development & Performance Management:

• Define and maintain Infusion KPIs
•  Build dashboards and decision‑support tools; operationalize KPI reviews across sites and regions
• Establish targets and early‑warning indicators; escalate risks/opportunities with recommended actions.

Strategic Insights & Decision Support:

• Lead deep‑dive analyses on therapeutic/category mix, site‑level economics, payor/reimbursement trends, pricing actions, and margin optimization.
• Model business cases for new programs, pricing/contract changes, formulary decisions, and footprint expansion; quantify ROI and sensitivity scenarios.
• Translate complex analytics into concise, executive‑ready recommendations.
• Align with physician leadership and regional finance partners on action plans, owners, and timelines; track follow‑through

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a reliable FP&A partner to Operations while collaborating with Region Finance Leaders, Analytics team, & FP&A to localize insights.
• Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Accounting/Controllers, and the FP&A Director to ensure one consistent view of results and outlook.

Continuous Improvement & Tools

• Advance a digital/AI‑enabled FP&A toolkit to streamline reporting, automate recurring analyses, and improve cycle time and accuracy.
• Standardize templates, definitions, and processes to enable comparability across sites/regions.

The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:   

Education (Required)

• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field).

Experience (Required)

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience
• Experience in FP & A leadership in a multi-site or complex operating envorinment.
• Experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Valuations, Controllership, or similar roles.
• Demonstrated ability to support senior leaders with timely, accurate financial analysis in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MSF or related) and/or CPA.
• Experience in healthcare services preferred.
• Prior experience in oncology, hospital administration, or similarly complex healthcare environments is advantageous.
• Experience in other multi‑site healthcare settings (e.g., outpatient surgery, renal care, multi‑specialty practices) is highly valued.

• Experience in providing financial oversight or support to infusion service lines is strongly preferred.
