A Different Kind of Fire Loss Sales Role
Let’s be honest: “fire chasing” does not always have the best reputation. Too often, families in crisis are approached by aggressive salespeople focused more on a signature than on serving the customer.
That is not who we are—or who we are looking for. AdvantaClean needs an empathetic, high-integrity professional who can confidently earn business while treating people with dignity. The right person brings a servant’s heart, strong sales instincts, and the drive to build a meaningful new sales channel.
About AdvantaClean
AdvantaClean is a growing, full-service restoration company providing fire and smoke restoration, water mitigation, mold remediation, pack-outs, and reconstruction. We call our approach Restoring with Heart: serving customers with urgency, thoroughness, integrity, and genuine care.
What You Will Do
· Respond promptly to qualified fire-loss leads supplied through AdvantaClean’s lead service; no radio monitoring is required.
· Approach property owners with compassion, listen to their needs, and clearly explain the restoration and insurance process.
· Build trust, answer questions, overcome objections, and confidently ask for the opportunity to serve.
· Secure work authorizations and coordinate a smooth handoff to the operations team.
· Follow up consistently, document activity accurately, and meet goals for signed projects and revenue.
· Build referral relationships with first responders, insurance professionals, and property managers.
How Our Values Guide This Role
· Generate Smiles: Begin and end with empathy, educate the customer, and always do the right thing.
· Care Genuinely: Listen before selling and bring honesty, calm, and compassion to every interaction.
· Details Are Everything: Act with urgency without taking shortcuts; document carefully and follow through.
· Support Fiercely: Work as one team, remain coachable, and honor every promise made to a customer.
Who We Are Looking For
· Success in outside, in-home, consultative, or relationship-based sales
· The ability to establish trust quickly and ask for the business without becoming aggressive
· Excellent judgment, emotional intelligence, follow-up, resilience, and closing skills
· Flexibility to respond occasionally outside traditional business hours, including some nights and weekends
· A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
· Experience in restoration, roofing, construction, insurance, or emergency services is helpful. Former firefighters, EMS professionals, and other first responders with strong relationship-building or sales ability are encouraged to apply
