About the Role
The Financial Services Associate (FSA) supports a portfolio of small and midsize business clients by delivering accurate, timely, and compliant accounting services. You’ll manage daily and monthly financial operations, maintain clean books, and provide reliable reporting that helps business owners make confident decisions.

What You’ll Do
- Manage accounting operations across multiple client engagements with accuracy, timeliness,
and compliance.
- Handle reconciliations, payables, receivables, reporting, and month-end close activities.
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules that meet client and
regulatory standards.
- Serve as the primary client contact and lead onboarding for new engagements.
- Monitor budgets and communicate capacity, service, or scope concerns proactively.
- Maintain precise documentation and follow established processes to ensure audit readiness
and continuity.
- Use cloud based tools like QuickBooks, Canopy, Bill, and others, to deliver efficient, consistent
service.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to clarify needs and resolve issues quickly.
- Identify and share process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Uphold enTune’s standards of confidentiality, integrity, and excellence.
- Support smooth transitions between team members and contribute to training and continuous
- improvement.
- Stay current on accounting best practices, compliance requirements, and emerging
- technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
- 5–10 years hands‑on accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Availability Monday–Friday during Eastern Time business hours
- Ability to begin at ~30 hours/week and ramp to 40 hours/week
- Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence
- Proven accuracy, reliability, and alignment with engagement budgets
- Passion for supporting small and midsize businesses
- Strong remote collaboration skills and accountability
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new tools
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards
What Success Looks Like
- Manage accounting operations across multiple client engagements with accuracy and timeliness
- Complete reconciliations, AP/AR, reporting, and month‑end close
- Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
- Lead onboarding and serve as the primary client contact
- Monitor budgets and proactively communicate capacity or scope concerns
- Maintain audit‑ready documentation and follow established SOPs
- Use cloud‑based tools (QuickBooks, Canopy, Bill, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve issues quickly
- Identify and share process improvements
- Uphold enTune’s standards of confidentiality, integrity, and excellence
- Support team transitions and contribute to training and continuous improvement
- Stay current on accounting best practices, compliance, and emerging technologies
