📍 Location: France (remote). 
 
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our team in France.   
 
As part of a growing international business, we have centralised the professional Finance function at our headquarters. To ensure smooth local operations in France, we need a reliable on-the-ground partner to manage essential financial tasks. 
 
This role is focused on finance, leading the month-end close, preparing statutory reports (including VAT), reconciling intercompany transactions and general ledger accounts, and supporting statutory audits. You will work closely with external consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure our French operations stay compliant and financially clear.  
 
What You’ll Be Handling Day-to-Day: 

• Lead the month-end close process with accuracy and efficiency. 
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and cash-flow monitoring for the French entity. 
• Prepare and submit statutory reports, including VAT and CIS, ensuring full compliance. 
• Manage the relationship with the external accounting firm (expert-comptable) and tax advisers, including corporate income tax, CFE/CVAE and the annual accounts (liasse fiscale). 
• Manage intercompany transaction reconciliations across international operations. 
• Prepare detailed general ledger (GL) account specifications and reconciliations. 
• Deliver monthly management reporting to headquarters, including budget vs. actual analysis, forecasts and commentary on the French business. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial clarity supports operational goals. 
• Assist with statutory audits by providing accurate documentation and timely responses. 
• Maintain internal controls and continuously improve local finance processes, acting as the trusted finance partner to local leadership and the Group Finance team. 

What You’ll Need in Your Toolkit:  
✔️4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a high-growth or technical environment.    
✔️Solid knowledge of French GAAP (PCG) and statutory/tax compliance, VAT, corporate income tax, liasse fiscale, with exposure to group (IFRS) reporting a plus.  
✔️Experience working with an expert-comptable and statutory auditors (CAC), and managing month-end close in an international, multi-entity environment.   
✔️Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.  
✔️Fluent in English & French.  
✔️Hands-on, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused mindset.
