Job Description

Italy is one of the world's leading boat manufacturers, and Raymarine has been working for years with all the major shipyards that produce boats ranging from 5 to 40 meters in length.

We design, develop, and manufacture cutting-edge products, and work with main shipyards to deliver innovative, reliable, and easy to operate products and solutions.

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic person who will be expected to manage on-field product support for all our customers, including OEMs (shipyards) and dealer network.

You will be part of the Product Support team, helping colleagues in managing any problems related to Raymarine/FLIR products.

You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving problems to ensure complete customer satisfaction and participate in trade shows or promotional events organized by the Company.

About the Role

As a Product Support Specialist, you will be the primary technical contact for our customers, including OEM boat builders, dealers, and end users. You will provide expert field-based support, diagnose technical issues, and work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide field-based technical support for Raymarine, Raymarine Commercial, FLIR, Maretron, and Octoplex products.
• Support customers across Italy and other territories managed by Raymarine Italia, including Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, and Malta.
• Diagnose and resolve product-related technical issues efficiently and professionally.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers requiring technical assistance and after-sales support.
• Collaborate closely with internal Customer Service and technical teams to resolve complex cases.
• Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, product demonstrations, and promotional events.
• Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, dealers, installers, and end users.

About You

We're looking for someone who is technically minded, customer-focused, and passionate about problem solving.

Main competencies required

• Technical or scientific qualification (degree or secondary school diploma).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Proactive approach with strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Good level of English.
• Proficient with IT systems and standard computer applications.

Desirable

• A passion for boating and the marine industry.
• Previous experience supporting technical products or marine electronics.

Travel

This role requires regular travel throughout Italy and occasional travel to other European countries within the Mediterranean region.
