Position Summary

The FBS Business Intelligence Consultant is responsible for transforming large and complex customer datasets into actionable business insights that support strategic decision-making and revenue growth. This role partners closely with Sales, Business Leaders, Analytics, and Technology teams to develop reporting solutions, business intelligence dashboards, predictive models, and performance metrics that drive commercial success.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical and analytical expertise with business acumen, helping stakeholders identify opportunities, optimize cross-sell strategies, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer profitability.

This position requires a strong foundation in data analysis, data modeling, business intelligence, and statistical methodologies, along with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and KPIs for business and sales performance tracking.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Create predictive models, customer segmentation, and targeting strategies to support growth initiatives.
  • Partner with business, analytics, and IT teams to deliver scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, reporting accuracy, and compliance with governance standards.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting.
  • Advanced Power BI (DAX, Data Modeling, Dashboards), SQL, and Excel skills.
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business recommendations.

Preferred

  • Insurance or financial services experience.
  • Predictive analytics, segmentation, and statistical modeling experience.
  • Knowledge of Python or R.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
