Department: Production
Reports to: Firm administrator and Case Manager.
Purpose: Provide administrative support to the case manager in pre-litigation matters involving car accident injury claims.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up new files
Investigation
Opening Claims.
Sending LOR’s to Insurance Company.
Requesting Police Reports.
Performing Conflict Check.
Emailing and mailing client documents.
Withdrawals or Discharge Letters.
Medical
Getting Account total charges and balances from Providers.
Uploading and labeling documents.
Letter of representation (LORs) to providers: Health Ins./PIP/ L&I, etc.
Letters of Protection to providers.
Subrogation - Set Up and follow ups for Liens and ledgers.
Follow up with providers regarding billing and balances.
Insurance Declarations Page and waivers.
