Executive Creative Director

The Opportunity

We are building the next version of Method1, and we are looking for an Executive Creative Director who can make creative one of our strongest competitive advantages. This is not a maintenance role. It is an opportunity to raise the work, transform the creative team and how it operates, strengthen our most important client relationships, and help shape the future of the agency. 

What You’ll Do

• Raise the creative standard — bringing exceptional taste, judgment, craft, and ambition to the work.
• Build enduring creative platforms — turning business challenges and strategic insights into distinctive ideas that can live across channels, experiences, retail, content, and culture.
• Lead in the client room — bringing the executive presence and creative credibility to earn trust, challenge thinking, and help clients buy bigger ideas.
• Transform the creative team — coaching and developing talent while creating clearer standards, stronger accountability, and better work.
• Build a more integrated creative process — partnering with Strategy, Client Partnership, Media, and Creative Operations to produce stronger work with greater speed and less churn.
• Modernize how we create — embracing flexible talent models and AI as ways to expand creative ambition, quality, speed, and range.
• Help drive growth — strengthening pitches, RFPs, Method1's own brand, and our credibility as the agency for indulgence brands.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a challenger-brand creative leader with:

• Exceptional creative taste and a portfolio of distinctive, business-moving work
• Executive presence, gravitas, and strong senior-client instincts
• Experience building brands and creative platforms—not simply campaigns
• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to connect creativity to business outcomes
• Proven creative team leadership and talent development
• The ability and willingness to remain close to the work
• Integrated thinking across channels and disciplines
• Applied curiosity and fluency with AI
• High standards, strong opinions, low ego, and a collaborative leadership style

Experience in spirits, beverage, food, CPG, lifestyle, or other indulgence categories is highly valued, but creative horsepower and leadership capability matter more than category pedigree.
