The Event Marketing Specialist supports the planning and execution of marketing events, including trade shows and conferences, to elevate brand presence. This role coordinates logistics, manages vendor relationships, and tracks event performance metrics to ensure successful outcomes.

Job Introduction:
The Event Marketing Specialist position supports the planning and execution of marketing events that elevate Tekion’s brand presence and drive customer and prospect engagement. The role coordinates logistics and execution for trade shows, conferences, and other large-scale events, ensuring a smooth attendee experience and strong alignment with marketing objectives. This role works closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to help deliver well-organized, on-brand events.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Assists in planning and executing marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, customer events, and other branded experiences
Coordinates event logistics such as registration, attendee tracking, venue requirements, presentation support, event materials, and post-event follow-up
Supports vendor coordination for services including exhibit setup, shipping, equipment, catering, and on-site event operations
Helps manage event timelines, checklists, and project plans to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule
Collaborates with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Marketing, Design, and Operations to support event goals and execution
Assists with the development and distribution of event-related communications and materials
Provides on-site event support, including setup, issue resolution, and coordination with partners and vendors
Tracks event performance metrics, attendee feedback, and post-event evaluations to support continuous improvement
Researches and evaluates potential event locations, venues, and service providers as needed
Basic Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in event marketing, event coordination, field marketing, or related roles
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field
Experience supporting trade shows, conferences, or corporate events preferred
Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with event registration tools, project management tools, and Microsoft Office or similar business applications
Willingness to travel and provide on-site event support as needed
