Position: Event & Demo Operations Specialist

Location: Remote (Spain — ideally based in/near Barcelona for warehouse access)

Contract Type: B2B Contract (Full-Time)

Travel: ~30% travel required (primarily within the EU)

About the Company

Our client is a global industry leader in sustainable urban mobility solutions, transforming how people move through cities around the world. Operating across 14 countries and powering micro-mobility networks in over 55 major metropolitan areas, they combine cutting-edge technology and hardware to serve millions of riders daily. In close partnership with municipal governments and local operators, they deliver innovative, eco-friendly transit ecosystems that make urban transportation cleaner, smarter, and more accessible.

The Opportunity

Are you a detail-oriented event logistics professional who loves mixing project management with hands-on, technical execution? We are seeking an Event & Demo Operations Specialist based in Spain (ideally close to Barcelona) to join our client's Enterprise Marketing team on a long-term B2B contract basis.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind the company’s presence at key industry trade shows, conferences, and exclusive client engagements. You won't just sit behind a screen planning timelines—you'll also roll up your sleeves, manage demo hardware, build showcase units, inspect warehouse inventory, and lead on-site setups to ensure the brand shines in front of global partners and city leaders.

What You’ll Do

  • High-Impact Client Events: Plan and execute polished client-facing networking events and receptions (e.g., exclusive cocktail evenings for ~80 guests alongside major industry conferences).

  • End-to-End Demo Logistics: Oversee requests for high-tech demo equipment, coordinate shipments with warehouse operations, and secure showcase spaces at major global events.

  • Hands-On Equipment & Warehouse Prep: Prepare, test, and package demo equipment prior to events, collaborating closely with logistics teams. Periodically visit the main regional warehouse near Barcelona to audit, manage, and inspect demo inventory.

  • On-Site Set Up & Dismantling: Travel on-site across the EU to lead hardware setup, assembly, technical troubleshooting, and teardown of marketing materials and equipment.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Host weekly syncs to align cross-functional teams, oversee timelines, and manage internal staff event registrations.

What We’re Looking For

  • Contract Preference: Ready and setup to work on a B2B contract basis.

  • Location: Based in Spain, with a strong preference for candidates living in or near the Barcelona area for easy access to the local warehouse.

  • Hands-On Experience: 1–3 years in event production, field marketing, AV/technical event support, or event logistics.

  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with hands-on mechanical and technical work—using basic hand tools (drills, wrenches), assembling equipment display units, and troubleshooting hardware on the fly.

  • Organizational Mastery: Skilled at juggling vendor management, event registrations, equipment shipments, and tight timelines simultaneously.

  • Strong Communicator: Fluent in English (written and verbal) with the leadership to direct weekly meetings, keep stakeholders accountable, and represent the brand professionally.

  • Self-Motivated & Remote-Ready: Able to work independently from a home office while staying agile, proactive, and highly responsive.

Work Schedule & Logistics

  • Engagement Model: Full-time B2B Contract.

  • Travel: ~30% travel across the EU for events, along with occasional visits to the main inventory warehouse near Barcelona.

  • Schedule: Enjoy standard 9–5 flexibility for most of the year, with extra flexibility required during peak event seasons (April–June and September–early December).

  • Setup: 100% remote working arrangement when not traveling or conducting warehouse inventory checks.
