Position Overview

Our healthcare client is seeking three experienced Epic Willow Inpatient Analysts to join its pharmacy applications team and support several significant upcoming Epic implementations and optimization initiatives.

The ideal candidates will be Epic Willow Inpatient certified and bring strong hands-on experience supporting, building, and implementing Epic Willow within an acute care/inpatient pharmacy environment. These analysts will play an important role in supporting four major upcoming implementations, including Epic Home Infusion, Willow Inventory for Acute/Inpatient Pharmacy, TPA functionality, and an additional planned pharmacy initiative.

Candidates who have previously implemented or supported these specific Epic pharmacy modules and workflows will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, build, configuration, testing, and optimization of Epic Willow Inpatient functionality.
• Participate in multiple upcoming Epic pharmacy implementations, including:
  • Home Infusion - net-new implementation
  • Willow Inventory for Acute/Inpatient Pharmacy - expansion of existing inventory functionality currently used in the ambulatory environment
  • TPA functionality - net-new implementation
• Partner with pharmacy leadership, pharmacists, operational stakeholders, and other Epic application teams to gather requirements and translate operational needs into effective Epic solutions.
• Analyze existing inpatient pharmacy workflows and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Perform application build, system configuration, integrated testing, workflow validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Assist with implementation readiness and go-live activities for new Willow functionality.
• Collaborate with the existing Willow team and provide subject matter expertise related to inpatient pharmacy workflows.
• Develop and maintain application documentation and communicate system changes effectively to technical and operational stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Current Epic Willow Inpatient certification required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Epic Willow Inpatient build, configuration, support, and optimization.
• Demonstrated understanding of inpatient/acute care pharmacy workflows and how they are supported within Epic.
• Experience participating in Epic implementations, upgrades, enhancements, or major optimization initiatives.
• Ability to work independently in a 100% remote environment while collaborating closely with a larger Epic pharmacy team.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical resources and pharmacy/clinical stakeholders.

Highly Preferred Experience

Candidates with hands-on implementation or support experience in one or more of the following areas will be strongly prioritized:

• Epic Home Infusion
• Epic Willow Inventory for Acute/Inpatient Pharmacy
• TPA functionality/workflows
• Previous experience taking a net-new Epic pharmacy module through implementation and go-live
• Experience supporting complex Epic pharmacy environments across multiple facilities or business units
• Experience working on large-scale Willow optimization or transformation projects

Team Environment

The selected consultants will join an established team, consisting of a combination of full-time employees and consultants. The team will be responsible for supporting the organization's existing Willow environment while simultaneously preparing for several major pharmacy-related Epic initiatives.

This is a Contract position based out of Charleston, SC.

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $90.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
