The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Regional Manager role may be located near any IFF Taste site within Latin America and is primarily remote, with business travel as needed, typically around 20%, with occasional travel up to 50%. Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Partner with Environmental, Health and Safety leaders and site teams across Taste locations, primarily in Latin America, to strengthen compliance, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Review incident data, performance metrics, leading indicators and training effectiveness to identify opportunities for improvement and support strong safety performance.
• Lead and support site-level incident investigations, corrective action planning and root cause analysis activities.
• Facilitate and oversee Environmental, Health and Safety audits, risk assessments and program evaluations across the regional network.
• Provide technical guidance and support related to emergency response and fire safety for the Taste business unit globally.
• Collaborate with the Global Taste Environmental, Health and Safety team to develop, implement and share best practices, tools, training materials and resources.
• Support site teams in developing and executing Environmental, Health and Safety improvement plans aligned with business and corporate objectives.
• Partner with operations leadership to identify emerging risks, escalate concerns when appropriate and drive sustainable solutions.
• Maintain relevant Environmental, Health and Safety documentation while supporting consistent program implementation across the region.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Emergency Response, Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or a related field with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience, or a high school diploma with at least 15 years of directly related experience.
• Professional proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience leading or supporting Environmental, Health and Safety programs within manufacturing, industrial or chemical processing environments.
• Knowledge of occupational safety regulations, environmental regulations, fire codes and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards and practical experience as an emergency responder.
• Minimum of 5 years of site-level manufacturing or industrial experience.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections, risk assessments and compliance evaluations.
• Experience with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Ability to analyze Environmental, Health and Safety performance metrics, develop improvement strategies and collaborate effectively across multiple locations, functions and leadership levels.

• Certified Safety Professional designation or another recognized Environmental, Health and Safety certification.
• Experience facilitating Process Hazard Analyses, machine safety risk assessments and industrial hygiene exposure assessments.
• Experience developing and delivering Environmental, Health and Safety training programs across manufacturing or industrial environments.
