Alongside this, The Cruise Globe is the world's leading digital platform for cruisers. Co-founded with Emma Cruises, one of the most trusted voices in cruising, with over 425,000 YouTube subscribers and 10 million+ monthly views. The Cruise Globe is our community platform and app, the "Strava for cruises", where cruisers can track their exact routes and stats, capture and share their journeys, and plan and book what comes next. We now have 155,000+ users and 840,000+ cruises logged, built entirely through word of mouth with zero marketing spend.

Cruising is the fastest-growing segment in travel, and this is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing, highly ambitious team working to define a category in travel.

The Opportunity

We are hiring an Email Designer to join our remote team in the Philippines and take ownership of the visual design of our email marketing across both The Cruise Globe and The Cruise Maps.

This role exists because email is one of our most important commercial channels and we want to bring the design in-house. We have been working with an external agency to date and we are now ready to build something more consistent, more on-brand, and more responsive to our needs. 

The focus of this role is graphic design applied to email. We’re looking for a graphic designer who specialises in email, bringing strong visual instincts and design fundamentals to every campaign you build. You will be taking briefs, brand assets, copy, and product imagery and arranging them into visually compelling, high-converting email campaigns. Reporting directly to our Head of E-commerce, who will set briefs and evaluate output, you will work primarily in Klaviyo, building and maintaining templates that are optimised for both desktop and mobile.

Success in this role is measured by:

• Consistent, high-quality email designs delivered on time and to brief
• Strong visual hierarchy, typography, and layout across all campaigns
• Templates that are clean, mobile-responsive, and technically sound in Klaviyo
• A design system that brings consistency across all email touchpoints

What You'll Be Doing

Design and Build Email Campaigns

• Design visually compelling layouts for promotional, lifecycle, and campaign emails across The Cruise Globe and The Cruise Maps
• Arrange brand assets, product imagery, logos, and copy into clean, conversion-focused designs
• Build and maintain email templates directly in Klaviyo, ensuring they are mobile-responsive and render correctly 
• Apply strong typography, colour, and visual hierarchy to every email to create a consistent and professional brand feel
• Design animated elements and GIFs where appropriate to improve engagement

Maintain Brand Consistency

• Work within TCG and TCM brand guidelines to ensure every email feels cohesive and on-brand
• Build and maintain a reusable template library that makes future campaign production faster and more consistent
• Ensure design consistency across all email flows, launches, and one-off campaigns

Collaborate and Iterate

• Work closely with the Head of E-commerce to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective visual designs
• Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate quickly on designs without losing quality
• Support A/B testing initiatives by producing creative variations based on performance data
• Stay current with email design trends, best practices, and what is performing well in e-commerce and travel

Requirements

Essential

• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong focus on email design for e-commerce or DTC brands
• A strong portfolio of email campaigns and graphic design work that demonstrates layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
• Proficiency in Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience designing and building emails in Klaviyo or a comparable professional email platform such as Mailchimp or HubSpot
• Solid understanding of mobile-responsive email design and how emails render across different clients and devices
• A sharp eye for aesthetics, balance, and commercial design, you understand that great email design needs to drive a click, not just look good
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• C1/C2 level written and spoken English, all communication with the team is in English and must be clear and professional
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working within UK timezone overlap hours

Nice to Have

• Experience designing within Klaviyo specifically, including flows, templates, and campaign management
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge for email, useful when troubleshooting rendering issues
• Motion graphics or GIF animation experience
• Background in travel, lifestyle, or product-based e-commerce brands

Technical Requirements

• Access to a reliable, high-speed fibre internet connection with a backup option
• Your own computer capable of running Adobe Creative Suite and Figma without performance issues

Benefits

• A starting salary of PHP 58,000 to 65,000 per month, depending on experience
