Responsibilities

    The Accounts Administrator (Level

    1) provides bookkeeping and finance administration support to the Finance Team. The role is responsible for accurate transaction processing, daily bank reconciliations and maintaining high quality financial records in accordance with documented procedures. Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete daily bank reconciliations and investigate unreconciled items.
  • Process customer receipts and supplier transactions accurately.
  • Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare routine reconciliations and reports as requested.
  • Follow established procedures and internal controls.
  • Identify discrepancies and escalate issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement of finance processes. Performance Measures:
  • Bank reconciliations completed accurately and on time.
  • Transactions processed with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Deadlines consistently achieved.
  • Compliance with company procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

    Qualifications:
  • Experience in a bookkeeping or finance administration role (Australian GST reporting).
  • Experience completing bank reconciliations.
  • Sound understanding of bookkeeping principles.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Desirable:
  • Experience with Xero, MYOB, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Acumatica.
  • Experience working with cloud accounting systems.
  • High-volume transaction processing experience. Skills and Competencies:

Work Arrangement

  • Work Setup: Flexible Work Arrangement
  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm fixed start time, should complete nine (9) hours work
