Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer support to Dutch-speaking travellers via phone, email, and live chat, assisting with bookings, reservations, cancellations, and modifications on the Booking.com platform.
  • Provide expert guidance and tailored travel recommendations to customers across the full spectrum of tourism services, including hotels, flights, car rentals, and holiday packages.
  • Effectively resolve customer complaints, disputes, and escalations in a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented manner consistent with tourism industry best practices.
  • Liaise with accommodation providers, travel partners, and third-party suppliers on behalf of customers to ensure seamless travel experiences.
  • Accurately process and update booking information within internal systems, maintaining full compliance with data protection and tourism service standards.
  • Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to enhance the customer's overall travel experience while contributing to team performance targets.
  • Stay current with the latest tourism industry trends, Booking.com product updates, and destination knowledge to provide accurate and informed advice to Dutch-speaking customers.
  • Collaborate with fellow travel consultants and team leaders to continuously improve service quality, share best practices, and contribute to a positive and high-performance team culture.

Requirements

  • Native or fluent Dutch language skills, both spoken and written, are essential for this role.
  • A valid EU passport or the legal right to reside and work within the European Union is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in customer service, travel consultancy, tourism, or a related hospitality field is highly advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for the tourism industry, travel, and delivering exceptional customer experiences to Dutch-speaking clients.
  • Strong digital literacy with the ability to navigate online booking platforms, CRM systems, and communication tools efficiently.
