The Role

In this role, you will be accountable for the overall leadership, governance, and delivery of Data Protection, Disaster Recovery (DR), Backup & Recovery, and Cybersecurity Services for a major enterprise environment. As a crucial member of our organization, you will forge powerful and enduring business-to-business relationships with our customers, acting as a trusted advisor to senior executives and guiding cross-functional teams to ensure mission-critical systems remain resilient, secure, and continuously available.
In this role, you won't simply be a passive participant; you'll be at the forefront, leading the enterprise Disaster Recovery and resiliency program. You will oversee operational readiness, recovery testing, and remediation plans, and serve as the primary leadership authority during major incidents, critical recovery events, and high-pressure situations. By partnering closely with architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams, you will champion automation, modernize existing capabilities, and steer transformation initiatives that enhance our customer's cyber resilience posture.
Moreover, your impact extends beyond day-to-day operational execution. As a Delivery Manager, you will be entrusted with customer governance and the financial stewardship of multi-million-dollar contractual commitments. You will establish and direct executive governance forums, manage budgets and resource forecasts, protect recurring revenue streams, and ensure contractual commitments, service levels, and regulatory requirements are consistently met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

Who You Are
Strong experience leading large-scale infrastructure or managed-services delivery in a complex enterprise environment.
Direct Disaster Recovery and resiliency experience, including DR planning, testing, recovery execution, governance, and continuous improvement.
Experience with Data Protection, Backup & Recovery, storage, and infrastructure technologies.
Working knowledge of cybersecurity operations, security controls, risk management, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
Demonstrated experience managing customer relationships and executive-level governance.
Strong program and project management capabilities with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives.
Experience managing financial performance, budgets, resource planning, and service-delivery commitments.
Strong understanding of ITIL/service management disciplines, including incident, problem, change, and service-level management.
Ability to lead geographically distributed, cross-functional technical teams.
Strong communication, executive presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Proven ability to operate effectively during major incidents and high-pressure recovery situations.
Experience supporting a large healthcare or highly regulated enterprise environment.
Experience with enterprise DR, cyber recovery, backup and storage platforms.
Experience driving automation, operational transformation, and continuous improvement.
Relevant certifications in areas such as PMP, ITIL, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure technologies.
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is -
$156,360 to $296,880based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California (San Francisco Bay Area):$187,560 to $356,280
California (All Other):$171,960 to $326,520
Colorado: $156,360 to $296,880
Massachusetts$156,360 to $326,520
New York City: $187,560 to $356,280
Washington: $171,960 to $326,520
Washington DC:$171,960 to $326,520
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
