The Support Engineer provides L3 production support for .NET applications, including troubleshooting incidents and resolving complex technical issues. They are responsible for developing code-level fixes, managing deployments, and ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards.
The Support Engineer – .NET Developer serves as the primary technical resource for advanced application support and development activities. The role includes troubleshooting production incidents, analyzing application defects, implementing code fixes, supporting integrations and APIs, optimizing application performance, and contributing to minor enhancements. The engineer works closely with business users, support teams, database analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless application operations while adhering to defined SLAs and best practices.

Provide L3 production support for .NET applications and APIs.
Investigate and resolve complex application issues requiring code-level analysis.
Develop, test, and deploy fixes for production defects.
Analyze application logs, exception traces, and performance bottlenecks.
Support application integrations, web services, APIs, and backend processes.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
Support production deployments, release activities, and post-deployment validation.
Implement minor enhancements and approved application improvements.
Collaborate with database, infrastructure, and business teams during issue resolution.
Maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.
Ensure compliance with SLA, security, and quality standards.
Participate in on-call support and major incident resolution activities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in .NET application development and support.
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET, and Web APIs.
Experience with SQL Server, database design, stored procedures, and query optimization.
Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
Experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cloud-native application support.
Experience in production support, incident management, and release management processes.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of ITIL practices and service management processes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment and participate in on-call rotations.
