Since 1972, we have partnered with builders, contractors, developers, and business owners throughout the region by providing quality building systems, responsive service, accurate drawings, and dependable project execution. Our builder-first approach, combined with in-house design, detailing, and fabrication capabilities, allows us to provide solutions that help our customers succeed. Territory This position is responsible for most of Oklahoma outside of the Tulsa metropolitan area and northeast Oklahoma, with a primary focus on the Oklahoma City metro and surrounding markets throughout central, western, and southern Oklahoma. The preferred candidate will reside within the Oklahoma City metro area; however, qualified candidates located within the territory will be considered. What You'll Do •    Develop new business relationships with builders, contractors, erectors, developers, architects, and other construction industry professionals •    Expand BC Steel's presence and builder network throughout Oklahoma •    Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the PEMB market •    Conduct in-person meetings, jobsite visits, and customer presentations •    Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities •    Collaborate with estimating, engineering, and project management teams to develop solutions for customers •    Guide customers through project discussions, proposal development, and project award •    Maintain regular communication and follow-up throughout the sales process •    Represent BC Steel professionally while delivering exceptional customer service What Success Looks Like •    Establishing strong relationships throughout Oklahoma's construction market •    Becoming a trusted resource for builders and contractors •    Developing a healthy pipeline of PEMB opportunities •    Generating repeat business through responsiveness, expertise, and service •    Growing territory revenue and market share year over year What We're Looking For •    Experience in sales, construction, project management, estimating, business development, building materials, steel fabrication, commercial         construction, or the PEMB industry •    Contractor-facing experience strongly preferred •    Strong relationship-building and communication skills •    Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and the discipline to manage a territory independently •    Ability to identify opportunities and develop long-term customer relationships •    Strong organizational and follow-up skills •    Existing relationships within Oklahoma's construction market are a plus •    Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory   Qualifications
