El Distribution Specialist es responsable de apoyar las operaciones de distribución y transporte dentro del Centro Regional de Procesamiento de UPS Mail Innovations, asegurando la eficiencia de las actividades logísticas y el cumplimiento de los tiempos de entrega y recolección establecidos. Además, contribuye al monitoreo del desempeño operativo y financiero, brindando soporte a clientes internos y externos y coordinando recursos operativos.

Principales Responsabilidades

• Supervisar y coordinar las operaciones diarias de almacén y distribución para garantizar la salida puntual de los vehículos de transporte.
• Monitorear procesos logísticos relacionados con entregas, recolecciones y flujo de mercancías dentro de la instalación.
• Proporcionar atención y soporte a clientes respecto a consultas de estado de entregas, suministros y requerimientos operativos.
• Recopilar, analizar y reportar información financiera y operativa para apoyar la toma de decisiones gerenciales.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de los procedimientos operativos, estándares de calidad y objetivos de productividad.
• Coordinar y brindar orientación al personal tercerizado, incluyendo conductores y trabajadores de apoyo operativo.
• Colaborar con equipos de Operaciones y Transporte para identificar oportunidades de mejora continua en los procesos de distribución.
• Mantener registros precisos y actualizados de las actividades operativas y métricas de desempeño.

Requisitos Deseables

• Experiencia en logística, distribución, transporte o gestión de almacenes.
• Conocimiento de indicadores operativos y análisis de datos.
• Habilidades de coordinación, organización y resolución de problemas.
• Capacidad para trabajar en ambientes dinámicos y orientados al cumplimiento de plazos.
• Buenas habilidades de comunicación y servicio al cliente.
• Experiencia liderando o coordinando personal externo o proveedores de servicios.

Position Summary

The Distribution Specialist supports distribution and transportation operations within the UPS Mail Innovations Regional Processing Facility, ensuring efficient logistics activities and the timely execution of delivery and pickup schedules. This role contributes to operational excellence by monitoring warehouse activities, supporting customers, analyzing performance data, and coordinating operational resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate daily warehouse and distribution activities to ensure the on-time departure of transportation vehicles.
• Oversee logistics processes related to deliveries, pickups, and the flow of packages within the facility.
• Provide customer support regarding delivery status inquiries, operational requests, and supply-related needs.
• Collect, analyze, and report operational and financial performance data to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, and productivity goals.
• Provide guidance and directions to outsourced labor employees, including drivers and other contracted personnel.
• Collaborate with Operations and Transportation teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate operational records and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of operational metrics and data analysis.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience coordinating or leading third-party vendors or outsourced personnel.
