The Role

The Director of Special Systems is responsible for leading ANM's Physical Security Solutions organization, including project delivery, engineering, field operations, PMO, service, and business growth. This leader ensures exceptional client experiences while driving operational excellence, financial performance, and employee development across a multi-state delivery organization.

This role partners closely with Sales, Solution Architects, Operations, and strategic manufacturer partners to grow ANM's Special Systems business while delivering high-quality physical security and low-voltage infrastructure projects.

What You Will Do

Operational Leadership

• Lead all Special Systems delivery operations across multiple regions. 
• Own project execution from sales handoff through closeout. 
• Ensure consistent delivery methodologies, documentation standards, and quality control. 
• Develop scalable processes that improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. 
• Drive operational excellence across PMO, engineering, field services, warehouse, and subcontractor management.

Financial Management

Own the financial performance of the Special Systems business including:

• Revenue growth 
• Gross profit 
• Labor utilization 
• Project margin 
• Forecasting 
• Resource planning 
• Change order management 
• Operational KPIs 
• Develop quarterly business reviews and operational scorecards.

Team Leadership

Lead and develop a high-performing organization including:

• Project Managers 
• Project Coordinators 
• Field Supervisors 
• Engineers 
• Technicians 
• Apprentices 
• Interns 
• Solutions Engineers

Client Experience

Ensure ANM delivers a best-in-class customer experience by:

• Maintaining executive relationships 
• Leading project escalations 
• Supporting strategic accounts 
• Driving continuous improvement from customer feedback 
• Ensuring successful project delivery 

Sales Partnership

Partner with Sales and Solution Architects to:

• Support strategic pursuits 
• Participate in customer meetings 
• Develop delivery strategies 
• Improve project estimating 
• Increase services attachment 
• Expand recurring services opportunities

Travel
 Travel is occasionally required for this position. Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
