Trimark provides systems and services that power producers, utility providers, and independent load serving entities need to participate in organized electric markets, as well as the information ISO’s and Balancing Authorities need to manage the bulk electric grids.  Our team designs systems from concept to commissioning, including system and network architecture, software development, component assembly, technology configuration, installation, testing, certification, ongoing support, and maintenance.

Position Description

The Director of Project Management is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Project Management Department. This position will be accountable for leading the Project Managers to increase and improve sales, profitability, efficiency, resource utilization, client satisfaction, and quality of product.  The Director of Project Management will also drive improvements, helping to develop automation and streamlining of existing and new processes and procedures with flexibility and allowance for department and company expansion.   This position provides key input and advice to executive leadership that will drive broader organizational and company growth.

This role requires expertise in leading team members who are in positions with decision making authority on Trimark’s largest value projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish guidelines for the development of project management practices, processes, and procedures to align with business policy and direction of growth, as well as provide leadership in directing, controlling, and adjusting activities pertaining to project management
• Provide leadership in the identification and procurement of products for project deliverables
• Partner with Finance to develop and manage budget, milestones and compliance
• Provide leadership of contract term changes
• Provide oversight to identify and define scope/requirements and present clients with solutions
• Partner with Business Development for proposal development and presentation

Qualifications & Requirements

This position requires an advanced understanding of project management practices and proven leadership skills, typically evidenced by the following:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an Engineering discipline, and 15+ combined years of experience in Management and Project Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• PMP Highly preferred
• SCRUM Master or other AGILE Project Management Certification preferred
• Deep knowledge of electric utility-scale interconnection (Renewable PV+BESS), construction, SCADA and software implementation
• Ability to lead technical discussions in a non-technical manner
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong collaboration, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
• High degree of proficiency with MS Project, ADO or other Project Management tools
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.  This position is not eligible for sponsorship of a work visa
