Overview:

Our client is seeking a Business Development Director to identify new business opportunities, cultivate strategic partnerships, and expand their market presence within the aerospace and defense sector. This individual will work closely with the VP of Business Development to develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets

• Stay informed of emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and market growth opportunities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures

• Drive revenue growth by developing innovative sales strategies and closing deals

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing business development team

• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product development, and finance teams

• Assess risks associated with business development initiatives and develop mitigation strategies

• Monitor and analyze KPIs, market trends, and financial metrics to evaluate strategy effectiveness

• Engage with key stakeholders including executives, board members, investors, and industry partners

• Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes

• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
