The Director of Non-Commercial is responsible for leading sales initiatives, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the non-commercial foodservice sector. This role involves mentoring a sales team, managing budgets, and cultivating relationships with key clients and industry partners.
Perferred location for this role is eastern US.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Non-Commercial is responsible for leading sales initiatives, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the non-commercial foodservice sector. This includes but is not limited to healthcare. This role requires a strong ability to build relationships with key decision-makers, implement sales strategies, and oversee a team of sales professionals to achieve business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting non-commercial food service accounts, including healthcare facilities, FS Lodging, C&U, Recreation and corporate dining services.
Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, distributors, and industry partners to expand market presence.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure product offerings align with customer needs and market trends.
Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and manage the sales budget, forecasts, and performance metrics to track progress against business objectives for the Non-Commercial Specialists
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical business practices.
Perform additional duties as required.

7+ years of experience in foodservice sales, with a focus on non-commercial accounts.
Proven track record of driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Highly concentrated mental and visual alertness.
Frequent up/down motion to perform duties.
Moderate typing, calculating or otherwise working with fingers.
Visual acuity.
Ability to hear and receive detailed information.
Willingness to travel as needed.
