AI Summary

The Director, Brand Design will lead the creative function, setting the vision and quality standards across all brand, digital, and experiential channels. They will oversee a multidisciplinary team and partner with cross-functional leaders to translate business strategy into compelling creative work.

About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive “sick-care” to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against “we caught it too late again".

Reporting to the VP, Design & Experience, the Director, Creative will lead Prenuvo’s Creative function and oversee a multidisciplinary team of contributors. This leadership role is responsible for the Creative function as a whole; its people, capabilities, priorities, creative vision, quality, and effectiveness. The Director, Creative will oversee Prenuvo's creative expression across brand, campaigns, paid media, social, web, content, motion, physical environments, events, partnerships, and emerging experiences.

Your role is both directive and integrative. You'll set the creative vision and quality bar while leading through your team, giving them the clarity, ownership, and autonomy to independently direct programs, disciplines, and bodies of work. You'll partner closely with Marketing, Growth, Product Design, Clinical, Commercial, CX, and other subject-matter experts to ensure creative work is compelling, accurate, and responsive to the needs of a healthcare environment.

You'll combine a strong creative point of view with organizational leadership—building the team and capabilities we need, establishing scalable creative practices, and partnering across the company to turn brand and business strategy into exceptional creative work. This is a fully remote position open to candidates authorized to work in the United States. Occasional travel may be required for team gatherings, productions, events, and other business needs.

This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa (current or future).

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people’s lives!

What You'll Do

  • Vision & creative direction
    • Own and evolve Prenuvo's creative expression, translating brand and business strategy into a distinctive experience across channels.
    • Set the creative vision, principles, and quality standards that guide the brand design team and its partners.
    • Provide senior creative direction for major campaigns, launches, partnerships, and brand initiatives while empowering Creative Leads to direct individual programs and bodies of work.
    • Ensure the brand remains cohesive while continuing to evolve as Prenuvo, its audiences, and its offerings grow.
  • Organizational leadership
    • Own the structure, capabilities, performance, and development of Prenuvo's Creative function, building a multidisciplinary team capable of supporting the company's evolving brand and business needs.
    • Lead and develop team members, establishing clear accountability and empowering them to lead their teams and work independently.
    • Identify capability and talent gaps and determine where to build internally versus leverage agencies, freelancers, and production partners.
    • Create an environment of high standards, collaboration, accountability, creative ambition, and professional growth.
  • Portfolio, priorities, and resources
    • Own creative portfolio planning and resourcing, partnering with the VP of Design & Experience and cross-functional leaders to prioritize creative investment against the company's highest-value opportunities.
    • Balance business demand, team capacity, strategic importance, and creative opportunity when establishing priorities.
    • Ensure the Creative organization has the right talent, partners, processes, and resources to deliver against company priorities.
    • Provide visibility into creative priorities, capacity, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership.
  • Cross-functional leadership
    • Serving as the senior creative authority to the local brand design and creative team while taking broader direction from the VP, Design and Experience and partnering with leaders across Marketing, Growth, Product, Clinical, Commercial, CX, and other functions.
    • Translate business objectives, audience insights, and channel strategies into creative opportunities and direction.
    • Present and advocate for creative strategy and work with senior and executive stakeholders.
    • Partner closely with Product Design where brand and product experiences intersect, creating continuity while maintaining clear ownership between the two functions.
  • Creative systems and effectiveness
    • Establish scalable approaches to creative intake, prioritization, briefing, review, production, and delivery.
    • Oversee agencies, freelancers, production partners, and other external creative resources.
    • Partner with Marketing and Growth to understand creative performance and translate learnings into stronger creative strategy.
    • Balance brand-building and performance objectives, ensuring short-term optimization doesn't come at the expense of long-term brand equity.
    • Identify opportunities for AI and emerging technologies to improve creative exploration, production, scalability, and efficiency.
    • Remain connected to the work and step directly into creative development when the scale, complexity, or strategic importance of an initiative warrants it.

What You’ll Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in creative, brand, design, or related disciplines, including significant creative leadership experience.
  • 5+ years managing and developing creative teams and senior creative talent, with demonstrated success building high-performing multidisciplinary organizations.
  • An exceptional portfolio demonstrating brand thinking and creative direction across multiple channels and experiences.

  • Strong understanding of both brand building and performance marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience with portfolio prioritization, resource planning, team building, and organizational development.

  • Familiarity with product and UX design and the ability to partner effectively with Product Design leadership.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary creative tools and emerging AI-enabled creative technologies.
  • Consumer marketing experience in healthcare, HealthTech, MedTech, wellness, or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
