Responsibilities

The Director, Strategic Advisor Programs - Growth & Transition is responsible for the execution, optimization, and performance of Global Travel Collection's advisor growth, professional development, business transition, and succession initiatives. Reporting to the Vice President, Strategic Advisor Programs, this leader translates portfolio strategy into operational plans, measurable outcomes, and differentiated advisor experiences that help advisors grow stronger businesses and prepare for successful business transitions. 

 

Portfolio Scope:

Growth –The Pathway, Educational Study Programs, professional development programs, and future advisor growth initiatives.

Transition –Legacy In Motion, The Exchange, and future advisor transition and succession initiatives.

 

 

Portfolio Strategy and Program Leadership 

  • Translate the Vice President's strategic direction into annual plans, priorities, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for the Growth and Transition portfolio. 
  • Lead the execution, optimization, and evolution of programs that support advisor business growth, professional development, succession readiness, and business transition. 
  • Evaluate program performance and recommend when to refine, scale, introduce, or sunset initiatives based on advisor value and business impact. 
  • Maintain an integrated portfolio roadmap that balances immediate execution needs with long-term program growth. 

Program Execution and Advisor Experience 

  • Oversee the delivery of The Pathway, Educational Study Programs, professional development programs, Legacy in Motion, and The Exchange. 
  • Establish clear program journeys, participation requirements, communications, resources, and service standards for advisors. 
  • Drive advisor awareness, participation, adoption, and successful outcomes across the assigned portfolio. 
  • Ensure sensitive transition and succession programs are delivered with discretion, consistency, empathy, and a relationship-centered advisor experience. 

Governance, Measurement, and Continuous Improvement 

  • Establish program governance, operating rhythms, performance metrics, and reporting for Growth and Transition initiatives. 
  • Monitor program participation, advisor feedback, milestones, outcomes, and business impact. 
  • Translate data, feedback, and industry insights into program improvements and recommendations for the Vice President and senior leadership. 
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and barriers and lead cross-functional problem-solving to keep initiatives on track. 

Cross-Functional and External Partnerships 

  • Partner with Advisor Success, Marketing, Partner Relations, Learning and Development, Technology, Finance, Operations, Events, and other stakeholders to deliver coordinated programs. 
  • Build productive relationships with internal subject matter experts, external partners, facilitators, and vendors supporting growth and transition initiatives. 
  • Clarify roles, decision rights, deliverables, and timelines across workstreams. 
  • Represent Growth and Transition programs in planning discussions, working sessions, and leadership updates. 

Operational Excellence 

  • Establish clear priorities, workflows, documentation, and quality standards across the portfolio. 
  • Manage resources and program budgets responsibly and escalate capacity or investment needs when appropriate.
  • Create an operating environment in which strategic direction is translated into consistent, timely, and measurable execution. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in program management, advisor success, strategic initiatives, operations, or related business leadership. 
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into executable plans, measurable outcomes, and operational discipline. 
  • Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and financial management skills. 
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives and stakeholder relationships. 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing capabilities. 
  • Knowledge of advisor engagement, relationship-based business models, and the travel industry preferred. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of execution and advisor experience.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas.  Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.  The salary range posted represents the pay range for U.S. candidates.  If the job posting indicates that the role is available for international candidate consideration, the salary range will be based on the local market for the country where the candidate would be working.

                           

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
