This role is ideal for an experienced banking professional who can independently analyze complex data, lead client engagements, communicate with executive leadership, and translate insights into practical strategies that help financial institutions achieve their growth objectives.

·   Assess deposit portfolios, product structures, pricing strategies, customer behavior, competitive positioning, and market opportunities.

·   Evaluate consumer, business, and commercial deposit offerings to identify opportunities for growth, simplification, profitability improvement, and stronger customer engagement.

·   Develop executive-ready presentations, reports, recommendations, and prioritized action plans tailored to each client’s objectives.

·   Present findings and recommendations to client leadership and facilitate decision-making discussions.

Data Analysis and Strategic Recommendations

·   Validate and reconcile client data, identify material data limitations, and communicate assumptions appropriately.

·   Translate complex data sets into meaningful business insights and practical recommendations.

·   Develop strategies focused on deposit acquisition and retention, balance growth and mix, product penetration, relationship expansion, pricing, cost of funds, fee income, and profitability.

·   Help clients prioritize initiatives based on expected business impact, resource requirements, implementation complexity, and organizational readiness.

Business Development and Practice Growth

·   Support sales and business development efforts through discovery calls, solution discussions, proposals, and client presentations.

·   Help develop statements of work, project scopes, business requirements, effort estimates, and engagement approaches.

·   Identify appropriate follow-on services and expansion opportunities based on client needs uncovered during engagements.

·   Contribute to team revenue objectives while maintaining high standards for client satisfaction and delivery quality.

Methodology and Team Development

·   Partner with Advisory Services leadership to enhance consulting methodologies, analytical models, standardized reporting, deliverables, and engagement capabilities.

·   Develop and maintain reusable consulting templates, frameworks, tools, and other practice assets.

·   Mentor and support less experienced consultants and team members.

·   Maintain awareness of deposit market trends, competitive practices, regulatory considerations, and emerging financial-services capabilities.

Required Qualifications

·   5+ years of experience working with consumer, business, and/or commercial deposit products and services, including experience in areas such as product design, pricing, implementation, marketing, portfolio management, or data analysis.

·   5+ years of experience in banking or the financial services industry; banking experience is strongly preferred.

·   Demonstrated experience analyzing financial, product, customer, or operational data and converting findings into business recommendations.

·   Experience leading client-facing projects, strategic initiatives, or consulting engagements from initiation through completion.

·   Experience developing project scopes, business requirements, statements of work, and professional client deliverables.

·   Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with C-level executives, business leaders, operational stakeholders, and technical teams.

·   Strong project management, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in complex or ambiguous situations.

·   Experience developing clear, executive-ready findings, recommendations, presentations, and implementation roadmaps.

·   Experience mentoring, coaching, or training less experienced team members.

·   Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related Microsoft Office applications.

·   Experience working with and presenting to executive management at financial institutions.

·   Knowledge of deposit pricing, relationship pricing, relationship rewards, product profitability, treasury services, analyzed accounts, or balance growth strategies.

·   Experience with analytical and reporting tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Cognos, Power BI, or similar platforms.

·   Experience supporting sales pursuits, opportunity development, proposal development, or consulting solution design.

Education

·   Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, marketing, banking, or a related field preferred.

·   An equivalent combination of education, banking experience, and consulting experience will be considered.
