About the Role

As the Program Manager, you will provide leadership and strategic oversight for a key part of our business, specifically focused on supporting a Medical Information program for a prominent pharmaceutical company. You will be responsible for managing the performance and results of specific teams and functions that contribute to service delivery, revenue generation, and operational profitability. This role involves guiding professional staff, developing strategies, and implementing initiatives to achieve business goals. Additionally, you will lead the delivery of customer contracts and relationships as a strategic partner, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and delivering best-in-class service delivery operations. Your responsibilities will include driving contractual performance measures, maintain overall function/account governance, and ensuring the highest standards of service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage Global Medical Information Teams: Oversee service delivery teams across multiple geographies to ensure client satisfaction and exceptional business performance, specifically within the Medical Information program for a leading pharmaceutical company.

  • Team Performance Management: Oversee performance management, including reviews, training, hiring, and development of staff, ensuring that teams are equipped to meet the unique demands of the medical affairs space. 

  • Drive Program-Specific Financial Performance: Manage P&L performance, ensuring alignment with the financial goals and objectives of the program, while maximizing operational efficiency.

  • Strategic Initiative Development: Identify business opportunities and challenges specific to our client and the Medical Information program, and help define strategic initiatives to address them, enhancing the overall service offering.

  • Client Collaboration and Contract Execution: Collaborate with sales and account teams on client negotiations and the execution of contracts, ensuring that the Medical Information program meets all client and contractual expectations.

  • Ensure Smooth Program Operations: Maintain smooth account performance and fulfillment of client expectations, with a focus on delivering excellence.

  • Continuous Improvement and KPI Management: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Medical Information program, ensuring that key performance measures and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded. 

  • Team Development and Engagement: Promote career growth and development opportunities for team members within the organization, driving engagement and retention of top talent.

  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure that the Medical Information program operates within the framework of company policies and regulatory standards in all markets, maintaining strict adherence to compliance and governance requirements.

  • Workforce Optimization and Resource Planning: Collaborate with WFM to optimize staffing, cross-training, and resource utilization, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and process effectiveness.

 

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in medical affairs is preferred.
  • Previous experience in managing healthcare, pharmaceutical, or contact center operations, specifically within a Medical Information setting, is highly preferred.
  • Technically savvy with familiarity with client CRM platforms, particularly in the context of managing Medical Information services.
  • Strong judgment and the ability to manage risk effectively within the scope of the position.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • A strong orientation toward client satisfaction, ensuring that services exceed expectations.
  • A commitment to a patient-centric approach, critical for the effective delivery of Medical Information services.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate large teams, particularly in the context of Medical Information programs.
  • Must be able to travel internationally on occasions.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $75k-80k.
