Cyber Product Manager

Position Description

Revolutional is seeking a versatile, hands-on Cyber Product Manager to support our Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE), transforming business needs and innovative ideas into practical, user-focused technology solutions.

This role combines product management, Agile project delivery, business analysis, and user acceptance testing. You will work closely with developers, subject matter experts (SMEs), business stakeholders, and end users to define requirements, prioritize development, coordinate delivery, and ensure solutions meet business and technical objectives.

The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of people, processes, and technology. You are comfortable moving between gathering requirements, managing backlogs, facilitating Agile ceremonies, testing functionality, and supporting product adoption.

This is not a traditional project management role focused solely on schedules and reporting. We need someone who takes ownership, brings structure to ambiguity, and helps teams deliver technology that creates measurable value.

Responsibilities

Product Planning & Business Analysis

• Partner with stakeholders, SMEs, and end users to gather requirements, identify challenges, and define product objectives.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development tasks.
• Develop and prioritize product backlogs based on business value, user needs, and technical dependencies.
• Support product roadmaps, release planning, process documentation, and solution design discussions.

Agile Project Delivery

• Coordinate Agile project execution, ensuring development activities align with priorities, timelines, and expected outcomes.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage Kanban boards, sprint backlogs, workloads, and dependencies using Agile project management tools.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify impediments, and communicate project status, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.

Product Testing & User Experience

• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders during prototyping, design reviews, and feature development.
• Develop and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios and coordinate usability testing.
• Document defects, enhancement requests, and user feedback, tracking findings through resolution.
• Validate completed features against requirements and acceptance criteria before release.

Stakeholder Engagement & Product Adoption

• Serve as the primary coordination point between developers, SMEs, business stakeholders, and end users.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, product demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
• Develop user documentation and training materials to support product adoption.
• Track product success metrics, including user adoption, process improvements, time savings, and operational efficiencies.

Technical Environment

• Agile Delivery: Scrum, Kanban, backlog management, sprint planning
• Project Management: Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar platforms
• Business Analysis: Requirements gathering, user stories, acceptance criteria, process mapping
• Testing: UAT, functional testing, usability testing, defect tracking
• Design: Figma or similar prototyping tools
• Technology: Cloud-based applications, enterprise technology, and cybersecurity environments

What You Bring (Requirements)

Baseline Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management, technical business analysis, Agile project delivery, or related technology roles.
• Experience working in a federal government or federal contracting environment.
• Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional development teams and managing competing priorities.
• Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

Technical Capabilities

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and iterative software delivery.
• Experience translating business requirements into actionable development tasks and maintaining project documentation.
• Experience coordinating UAT, validating functionality, and tracking defects or enhancement requests.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and collaboration between technical and business teams.
• Ability to track project performance, identify risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
