Customer Service Representative

This remote Customer Service Representative at American Collectors Insurance will be the first point of contact for all customers utilizing our call center for routine policy updates. This role is 100% virtual. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a high level of responsiveness and focus on providing our customers, agents and brokers with a superior level of service  
  • Answer questions about our brand, product offerings and/or coverage limits 
  • Perform changes to in-force policies  
  • Obtain necessary documentation quickly and efficiently 
  • Follow and adhere to underwriting compliance and service standards 
• Maintain a high level of quality, consistently adhering to underwriting guidelines and appetite in order to generate healthy, profitable business 
• Expected to be on phones 100% of the time  
  • Receive inbound calls from policy holders, agents and brokers needing service on existing policies  
  • Make outbound calls to maintain and manage consistent follow-up processes  
• Work as a team to create and maintain relationships with customers, agents and brokers 
  • Build trust and credibility quickly  
  • Thoroughly document all interactions  
• Meet all production goals 
• Escalate complex risks to more senior underwriters for additional assistance or reassignment  
• Performs other duties as assigned
