BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:
The Culture & Engagement function is leading various initiatives under the organizational Culture Change Roadmap aimed at strengthening employee engagement, fostering an inclusive workplace culture, promoting organizational values, and supporting positive behavioral change across WFP Jordan.
To support the implementation and monitoring of these initiatives, the Culture Transformation Volunteer will provide remote assistance in the design, evaluation, documentation, reporting, and communication of culture change activities. The volunteer will also contribute to the development of a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) project by supporting research, concept development, stakeholder engagement, and preparation of implementation materials.
The assignment offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic people and culture initiatives while gaining exposure to organizational transformation, employee engagement, and inclusion practices within an international humanitarian organizatio, the position reports to the Culture Transformation Officer.
ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support the implementation and monitoring of activities under the Culture Change Roadmap.
2. Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data related to culture transformation initiatives.
3. Contribute to the preparation of progress reports, dashboards, presentations, briefing notes, and management updates.
4. Support the evaluation of culture and engagement activities by compiling feedback, lessons learned, and recommendations.
5. Support the design and development of a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) project, including:Literature review and benchmarking, Stakeholder mapping, Development of project concept and objectives, Identification of key activities and success indicators, Preparation of implementation and communication plans.
6. Support knowledge management by maintaining records, documentation, and repositories related to culture initiatives.
7. Participate in virtual meetings and prepare meeting notes, action trackers, and follow-up documentation.
DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:
• Consolidated monitoring and tracking tool for Culture Change Roadmap activities.
• Monthly progress reports summarizing ongoing culture transformation initiatives.
• Culture initiative evaluation summaries, including key findings and recommendations.
• Benchmarking report on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, International Business, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
Knowledge & Skills: Strong analytical and research skills; excellent written communication; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; ability to synthesize information and prepare reports; strong organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently in a remote environment; interest in organizational culture, employee engagement, change management, and inclusion.
Languages: Fluency in English required. Knowledge of other UN languages is an asset.
