Position Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Remote – Preferred East Coast / Panama City Beach, FL / Tampa, FL 
 
Position Overview 
We are seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator with strong Government contracting experience to support the full contract lifecycle across federal programs and opportunities. This role is ideal for a contracts professional who can quickly become a dependable, independent contributor after onboarding and training. Reporting directly to the Director of Contracts/Program Finance, this position will play a key role in contract administration, compliance, and internal coordination across the business. 
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced federal contracting environment. They should have a strong working knowledge of FAR/DFARS-based contracts, subcontracts, and contract administration practices, along with the judgment to escalate complex issues when needed. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
  • Support administration of prime contracts and subcontracts throughout the contract lifecycle, from award through closeout.  
  • Prepare and send draft NDAs, TAs, and other routine agreements for review and coordination.  
  • Review and process contract documents, modifications, task orders, agreements, and related correspondence.  
  • Assist in evaluating solicitations, terms and conditions, and contractual requirements for risk, compliance, and operational impact.  
  • Track contract deliverables (CDRLs), reporting requirements, periods of performance, option years, and key deadlines.  
  • Maintain organized and accurate contract files, records, databases, and documentation.  
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including business development, proposals, program management, finance, and leadership, on contractual matters.  
  • Support subcontract administration activities, including issuing subcontract documents and modifications and maintaining subcontract files.  
  • Assist with contract closeouts, organizational conflict of interest reviews, representations and certifications, and other compliance-related actions.  
  • Monitor contract actions and help ensure alignment with company policies and Government requirements.  
  • Prepare summaries, status updates, and internal reports related to contracts and subcontract activity.  
  • Support audits, data calls, and customer or internal requests for contractual documentation.  
  • Escalate higher-risk or more complex contractual matters to leadership, as appropriate.  
  • Contribute to process improvements, templates, and standard practices for the contracts function.  
  • Support proposal coordination activities, including distributing RFP packages to subcontractors or internal teams, tracking proposal support requests and responses, coordinating required subcontractor documentation, and assisting with contract-related proposal inputs and follow-up actions.  
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred  
  • 4–8+ years of relevant contracts administration experience  
  • Government contracting experience required; DoD experience preferred  
  • Working knowledge of federal contract administration principles, including FAR and DFARS  
  • Experience supporting prime contracts and/or subcontracts in a federal contracting environment  
  • Ability to review and interpret contract terms and conditions with strong attention to detail  
  • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal day-to-day oversight  
  • Ability to identify next steps, anticipate needs, and surface issues before they become problems  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint  
  • Experience with Costpoint preferred  
  • Experience with contract file management and compliance tracking  
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and DoD contracting environments preferred  
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with strong self-direction, responsiveness, and follow-through  
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion; Secret clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance preferred
