Job Description

Purpose

Own the post-signature contract lifecycle for Version 1, taking ownership of every executed contract from signature onwards. You will make sure contract data is accurate, obligations are tracked, contracted price uplifts are applied on time, and renewals are never missed, so the business has reliable backlog revenue visibility and strong compliance evidence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the post-signature contract management process, governance model and all escalations.
• Run the price uplift and indexation cycle, and hold approval sign-off before increases are applied.
• Sign off renewal actions and own the working relationship with sales and finance.
• Maintain the accuracy and completeness of contract data against an agreed standard.
• Oversee the renewal early-warning routine so renewals are actioned well ahead of expiry.
• Produce and own backlog revenue and compliance reporting.
• Set and maintain service levels for contract intake, data validation and renewal alerts.
• Drive automation and AI adoption so the function scales without adding headcount.

What makes this role distinctive

• High volume: the function handles 150 to 200 signed contracts every month.
• Lean by design: a small, focused team where automation and AI carry the routine work and the team manages exceptions rather than processing every record by hand.
• You will work with the company contract lifecycle management platform and CRM. Full training is provided; prior experience with these specific systems is not required.

Qualifications

Required skills and experience

• Substantial experience in contract management, covering the post-signature lifecycle: obligations, renewals, and price or indexation clauses.
• A strong governance mindset, comfortable owning process, approvals and escalations.
• Commercial acumen: understands backlog revenue, gross profit, and how contracts translate into reported revenue.
• Confident stakeholder management across sales and finance.
• High attention to detail and a firm grip on data accuracy.
• Comfortable working in a lean, automation-first way, focusing effort on exceptions and outliers.
• Around 8 to 14 years of experience in contract management, including time at a lead or senior level.

Desirable

• Exposure to any contract lifecycle management (CLM) tooling.
• Experience in a managed services, IT services or technology environment.
• Experience introducing automation or AI into a contract or commercial operations process.
