Position Overview: The Fundraising Coordinator will play a vital role in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support the mission and programs of Asian Connections Hub. This role is responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of fundraising activities, including grant writing, individual giving campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and special events. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, self-motivated professional with a passion for community building and a deep understanding of ethical fundraising practices.
Key Responsibilities
Grant Management: Research, identify, write, and submit grant proposals to foundations and corporate funders. Manage a calendar of grant deadlines and prepare all necessary documentation for reporting.
Individual Giving and Corporate Partnerships: Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, social media, direct mail) to acquire new donors, retain current donors, and cultivate major gift prospects and Identify and build relationships with corporate partners for sponsorships, employee giving, and in-kind donations.
Donor Stewardship: Maintain accurate donor records in a database. Acknowledge and thank donors promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of communication and relationship-building.
Fundraising Communications: Collaborate with the communications team to create compelling fundraising materials, including annual reports, case studies, and campaign-specific content.
Budgeting & Reporting: Assist in the creation of fundraising budgets and provide regular reports on fundraising progress towards goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Business) or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of [2-3] years of experience in fundraising, development, or a related field, preferably within the nonprofit sector.
Demonstrated experience with grant writing and a proven track record of securing funding.
Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.
