ROLE DESCRIPTION

Title:                     Content and Growth Manager

Reporting to:        Global Head of Marketing

Location:              Remote, UK based

Background

Founded in 2011, Myzone is now the global leader in MoTech - motivation technology. We create connected fitness experiences that go beyond tracking to drive real, lasting behaviour change. Our platform blends wearable technology, behavioural science, and community to reward effort, build intrinsic motivation, and make movement genuinely enjoyable.

Following investment from BGF in 2022, Myzone has accelerated its shift to a software-first ecosystem, expanding from hardware-led tracking to a full motivation engine that supports people wherever they choose to move - in gyms, at home, outdoors, and soon on the devices they already own.

With Myzone Max and the introduction of Myzone Go, we are redefining how the world engages with exercise. Our purpose is simple: To motivate the world to move - powered by motivation, connection, and fun.

The business serves two types of customers:

  • Gym Partners. These are the gyms around the world that buy into the Myzone technology platform and subsequently sell Myzone devices on to their members
  • Myzoners. These are the users of the product, whether they be members of a gym (and the vast majority are) or not

How it works

Myzone rewards people not for how far or how fast they move, but for the effort they put in. Using a Myzone wearable or a compatible smartwatch, every minute of movement is converted into Myzone Effort Points (MEPs) – the core of our motivation technology.

MEPs are earned based on the heart rate zone someone is working in relative to their own maximum effort. This means every user is measured against their personal intensity, not arbitrary fitness metrics. The result is a motivational system that makes progress feel achievable, levels the playing field across different abilities, and creates thriving communities built on encouragement, accountability, and fun.

This is MoTech in action: turning real-time feedback, effort-based rewards, and social connection into a powerful engine for long-term behaviour change.

About the brand

  • Purpose – To motivate the world to move.
  • Mission – To create motivation technology (MoTech) that rewards effort, builds community, and sustains motivation for life.
  • Vision – To lead the world in motivation technology

  • Myzone values (how we show up to work each day):
    • Always moving, as one
    • Speak up, show up
    • Every body matters
    • Celebrate our wins
    • Be a Myzoner

Role purpose

This is a commercially critical role responsible for building and running Myzone’s global content engine across both B2B and B2C.

You will create and operationalise a content system that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion, ensuring Myzone shows up consistently and effectively across every touchpoint, from social and web to CRM and sales.

Working closely with Creative, Digital, CRM, and the wider marketing and sales teams, you will ensure content is not only high quality, but connected – turning brand, product, and customer proof into a scalable growth engine.

This role goes beyond content creation. It is about making content work harder – driving demand, supporting conversion, and improving how users and operators move through the Myzone ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Content engine and strategy

  • Build and run Myzone’s global content engine across both B2B and B2C audiences
  • Develop and deliver content across key pillars:
    • Product (how Myzone works, features, use cases)
    • Proof (case studies, customer stories, community)
    • Motivation / MoTech narrative
  • Turn internal knowledge (product, sales, customer success, leadership) into clear, structured, and scalable content
  • Own and maintain a prioritised content roadmap aligned to commercial objectives

Demand and conversion

  • Ensure content supports both demand creation (awareness, engagement) and conversion (enquiry, purchase, adoption)
  • Work closely with Digital to optimise website journeys, landing pages, and key conversion touchpoints
  • Create and refine content that drives clear actions (demo bookings, purchases, sign-ups, engagement)
  • Continuously improve content performance based on data and user behaviour

CRM and lifecycle (with CRM team)

  • Create and optimise content for lifecycle journeys across both B2B and B2C:
    • Lead nurture
    • Product onboarding
    • Retention and engagement
  • Partner with CRM to improve how content drives progression through the funnel
  • Ensure consistent messaging and experience across all email and lifecycle touchpoints

Channels and distribution (with social and community team)

  • Support execution and optimisation across key channels:
    • LinkedIn (operator audience, brand POV)
    • Short-form video (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Reels)
    • Email and CRM
  • Adapt content for different formats, platforms, and audiences
  • Ensure consistent cadence and high-quality output across all channels

Sales and product enablement

  • Create content that supports sales conversations and product understanding:
    • Case studies
    • One-pagers
    • Decks and supporting materials
  • Work with sales and product teams to understand customer needs, objections, and use cases
  • Ensure content clearly communicates commercial value and real-world impact

Creative collaboration (with Creative team)

  • Work closely with Creative to elevate content quality and consistency across all outputs
  • Brief and develop assets that balance speed and quality
  • Ensure content aligns with brand standards while remaining commercially effective

Performance and optimisation

  • Track and report on content performance across:
    • Engagement
    • Website conversion
    • CRM performance
    • Contribution to pipeline and revenue
  • Use insights and data to continuously refine messaging, formats, and priorities
  • Test, learn, and iterate to improve effectiveness over time

Cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with Digital, CRM, Creative, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure content is connected across all touchpoints
  • Act as the central point of coordination for content across campaigns, launches, and initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between brand, product, and commercial priorities

What success looks like (first 6 months)

  • A consistent content engine is live across web, social, and CRM
  • High-quality case studies and product content are being actively used by sales and marketing
  • Website content clearly supports both B2B and B2C conversion journeys
  • CRM journeys are live and improving engagement and progression
  • Content output is regular, measurable, and improving based on performance data
  • Marketing and sales teams are using content to support pipeline and revenue growth

About you

  • Senior level experience in content, marketing, or growth roles within fitness, tech, SaaS, or consumer brands
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex ideas or product features into clear, compelling content
  • Comfortable working across both B2B and B2C audiences, with an understanding of how content supports different stages of the funnel
  • Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how content drives demand, conversion, engagement, and revenue
  • Able to turn unstructured input (from product, sales, or customers) into structured, high-quality output
  • Experience working across multiple channels, including web, email/CRM, social, and short-form video
  • Confident collaborating cross-functionally with creative, digital, CRM, product, and sales teams
  • Comfortable working at pace, with a bias toward action and delivery over perfection
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Data-aware, with experience using performance insights to improve content effectiveness over time
  • Experience in the fitness industry or adjacent categories is a plus, but not essential
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required

  • Hybrid or remote working
  • Flexible working hours
  • 25 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays
  • Additional holiday opportunities via Myzone Team challenges
