Job Title: Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Job Summary: The Senior SAP Basis Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting Syntax's rapid growth by leveraging extensive knowledge and leadership capabilities in SAP Basis. This position involves defining and designing end-to-end industry-specific solutions that align with corporate customer business processes and requirements. The consultant will be responsible for identifying solution gaps, facilitating decision processes, and contributing to the overall quality management of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define high-level end-to-end industry-specific and corporate customer business processes, deriving lower-level business processes.
• Identify appropriate end-to-end BASIS solution designs to support business processes and requirements.
• Analyze and document solution gaps, develop gap closure options, and present recommendations aligned with client business strategies and industry trends.
• Facilitate decision-making processes, considering client pain points and challenges.
• Participate in training, system setup, testing, documentation, and maintenance support activities as necessary.
• Analyze changes required in the functional solution architecture due to evolving business or technical requirements and propose options for incorporation.
• Engage in project quality management tasks, including peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents, and code.
• Drive business development efforts and support sales of licenses and services.
• Contribute as an expert within the BASIS community.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of SAP BASIS consulting experience.
• Proven experience in end-user training.
• Strong knowledge of RISE with SAP.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with NetWeaver, HANA, Solution Manager, and hybrid (Cloud & On-Premise) architectures.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certification is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in Public Cloud environments.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• SAP Certification in relevant areas is preferred.
