Ogletree Deakins has an opportunity for an experienced Conflicts Specialist to join the Firm’s expanding practice. The Conflicts Specialist is a team member of the Conflicts Group which is a business unit of the Client Information Risk Services (CIRS) department. Responsible for performing conflict-of-interest searches using the Firm’s electronic conflicts checking application to determine any and all potential conflicts issues. Performs data integrity review of the information provided for the conflicts check to ensure data quality and accuracy. Investigates corporate family searches, as appropriate, to ensure a thoroughly comprehensive research of the provided data. In accordance with the Firm’s conflict checking standards, analyzes search result data to identify any and all potential conflict issues for both inclusion in the conflicts report and to determine necessary action from the specialist to resolve any issues. Prepares, as necessary, a summarized findings of the relevant data based on search results and after discussion with other attorneys/legal team members. Acts as the liaison for the requesting attorney with any future discussion with existing firm stakeholders, as well as the members of the Office of General Counsel. Must be prepared to explain search results and offer further research if and when necessary. This position will be required to work 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET. This position may be remote, but the successful candidate must reside in a state where the firm has a physical office.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $ 70,600 and $94,900. In accordance with New York State’s Wage Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this New York State position is between $72,500 and $99,400. In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $67,700 and $106,680. In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities act, the expected salary range for this Washington position is between $72,800 and $97,100. In accordance with the Wage Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act, the expected salary range for this DC position is between $67,700 and $92,200. In accordance with Maryland’s Equal Pay for Equal Work-Wage Range Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this Baltimore position is between $53,200 and $74,480. In accordance with Illinois Equal Pay Act Transparency Notice, the expected salary range for this Illinois position is between $67,700 and $92,200. In accordance with Massachusetts Frances Perkins Workplace Equity Act, the expected salary range for this Massachusetts position is between $68,600 and $93,500. In accordance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this Minnesota position is between $53,200 and $74,480. In accordance with New Jersey Senate Bill 2310, the expected salary range for this New Jersey position is between $68,600 and $93,500. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current scale range for this position in Cleveland, OH is $54,100 and $73,400 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position qualifies for the benefits below.
