Opportunity Description
NCG is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Compliance Assurance & Testing Leads to engage with clients and help plan, design, and drive assurance and testing capabilities. Compliance Assurance & Testing Leads work as part of NCG client engagements, helping clients tackle new opportunities or address challenges. These assurance and testing capabilities need to comprehensively address client areas of accountability and responsibility to ensure complete and effective solutions are deployed.
Current opportunities are within NCG’s Banking & Finance vertical, working with nationally and state-chartered banks, credit unions, trust companies, broker/dealers, and FinTechs.
NCG’s Compliance Assurance & Testing Leads ensure that clients are able to validate that solutions perform to defined requirements, compliance constructs, and corporate objectives from end-to-end in the client’s operating ecosystem. This includes collaboration with client control partners, internal and external stakeholders, and technical and process owners. Compliance Assurance & Testing Leads develop engagement-specific strategies and plans; establish environmental, data, and automation resources, and drive testing and assurance efforts and reporting to support overall engagement delivery and governance.
Role & Responsibilities
Compliance Assurance & Testing Leads are hands-on drivers of defining assurance and testing scope and execution for client engagements in the banking and finance industry. These Leads drive efforts to construct and run efforts that effectively test the adequacy and readiness of solutions within the client’s compliance with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
This position will be a lead management role on client engagement teams, interacting directly with NCG clients and managing integrated teams comprising NCG and client resources. Areas of responsibility include:
- Drive and manage efforts supporting client stakeholders for testing and readiness across corporate objectives, compliance, and industry standards.
- Drive and manage efforts to develop assurance and testing scope, strategy and plans with supporting scenarios and cases to ensure overall readiness and compliance as applicable in the banking and finance space.
- Manage testing execution activities across different types of testing (technology, control, training, policy and procedure, business process, etc.) and different stakeholders involved in testing and assurance.
- Oversee aggregated assurance and testing execution reporting across different types of testing and assurance stakeholders.
- Drive and manage traceability tracking and memorialization of assurance and testing efforts back through source findings, concerns, observations, and overall compliance as applicable to the client in the banking and finance industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience in the banking and finance industry
- 5+ years’ experience with banking and finance compliance constructs
- 5+ years’ experience with compliance assurance and testing processes
- 5+ years’ experience with assurance and testing planning and execution
- 5+ years’ experience with project management
- 2+ years with JIRA & JTMF
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate across different banking and finance stakeholders across executive leadership, technology, lines of business, and control partners
