Our client is looking for a mid-level compliance analyst to join their team. The persons personality and team culture fit is extremely important.

Conversion salary $80,000-90,000. Potentially some flexibility.

Work Environment

• Preferred locations: Milwaukee, WI (preferred); Merrill, WI; Madison, WI; Mechanicsburg, PA

• Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Tuesday–Thursday)

• Open to remote candidates for the right individual

Position Overview

We are seeking a Security Compliance Specialist focuses on supporting cybersecurity compliance and governance with an emphasis on regulatory adherence and control validation. This position bridges compliance and security operations, requiring foundational technical skills to maintain audit readiness and control effectiveness.

• Responsibilities include supporting compliance with frameworks like NYDFS 500, NIST CSF, and CIS, performing evidence collection, and validating security controls such as MFA enforcement and log retention.

• The role demands collaboration with Security Engineers, Legal, and third-party assessors, maintaining governance documentation, and ensuring timely completion of compliance activities.

• Candidates need 1-3+ years of cybersecurity experience, proficiency in log analysis, cloud security fundamentals, and familiarity with GRC platforms, with certifications like Security+ or CCSP preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
