This is a part-time, remote role ideal for someone who is deeply embedded in online culture, thrives in independent work environments, and brings strong creative instincts to everything they build
What You’ll Do
Day-to-day work will vary by client and campaign, but core responsibilities include:
Brainstorm, plan, and execute content calendars, engagement scripts, and community growth strategies (both evergreen and campaign-based)
Manage and respond to community members across social platforms using native and third-party tools including Sprout Social, TikTok Studio, and Meta Business Manager
Track and report KPIs; build performance reports that surface trends, insights, and opportunities for the client
Collaborate daily with clients and internal team members — clear, proactive communication is a non-negotiable
Identify and adopt new tools and platforms that improve workflow and client outcomes
Develop and refine community management practices, from content moderation and engagement strategy to social ROI and digital experience improvements
Handle community escalations, crises, or sensitive interactions with professionalism and sound judgment
Apply familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, PII, and Trust & Safety standards to all client interactions
You should be confident in the following:
Self-starter mentality — you manage your own time, follow through on commitments, and don't need hand-holding
Strong problem-solving skills and a sharp editorial eye for copy
Comfortable communicating both wins and challenges with clients and team leads
Confident on video and voice calls with internal and external stakeholders
Active, professional experience across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, and X
Ability to build and execute community programs, measure performance, and iterate based on data
Highly organized with strong time management — you hit deadlines
Creative copywriting that balances brand professionalism with cultural fluency and platform-native voice
Genuine passion for niche communities and online culture
Desired skills and pluses:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 4 years of hands-on social media or community management experience
Experience managing ambassador, MVP, or influencer programs is a strong plus
Proficiency with third-party moderation and engagement tools, including keyword filtering in Meta and creator care tools in TikTok
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Please ensure your LinkedIN profile or resume showcases your professional social media or community management experience. We also welcome samples of any social content or blog articles you have crafted on behalf of a brand.
