About the Role:
The Neuron Clinic  is looking for a driven and experienced Research Department Manager to lead and elevate our research initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the direction of cutting-edge clinical research within a dynamic and growing healthcare organization. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the research department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and institutional standards
  • Oversee, coordinate, and manage multiple clinical trials from start-up through completion. 
  • Coordinate trials and/or supervising the clinical research coordinators and research assistants who support trial activities.
  • Develop, implement, and manage research protocols, timelines, and project milestones
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate research staff including coordinators, analysts, and support personnel
  • Support the recruitment, enrollment, and management of study participants throughout the study process.
  • Prepare, organize, and submit required regulatory documents in a timely manner.
  • Ensure study specimens and investigational products are stored, handled, and tracked properly.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, external partners, and sponsors to drive research objectives
  • Monitor research budgets, resource allocation, and departmental expenditures
  • Ensure adherence to IRB, GCP, and FDA regulations across all active studies
  • Prepare and present research findings, reports, and updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Proactively identify and anticipate strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks that could affect business goals.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced degree in a related scientific or healthcare field preferred
  • Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management software.
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical or medical research management
  • Strong knowledge of IRB processes, GCP guidelines, and FDA regulations
  • Proven leadership and team management experience in a research setting
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills
  • Experience with research data management systems and clinical trial software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
