The Neuron Clinic is looking for a driven and experienced Research Department Manager to lead and elevate our research initiatives. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the research department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and institutional standards
Oversee, coordinate, and manage multiple clinical trials from start-up through completion.
Coordinate trials and/or supervising the clinical research coordinators and research assistants who support trial activities.
Develop, implement, and manage research protocols, timelines, and project milestones
Lead, mentor, and coordinate research staff including coordinators, analysts, and support personnel
Support the recruitment, enrollment, and management of study participants throughout the study process.
Prepare, organize, and submit required regulatory documents in a timely manner.
Ensure study specimens and investigational products are stored, handled, and tracked properly.
Collaborate with clinical teams, external partners, and sponsors to drive research objectives
Monitor research budgets, resource allocation, and departmental expenditures
Ensure adherence to IRB, GCP, and FDA regulations across all active studies
Prepare and present research findings, reports, and updates to leadership and stakeholders
Proactively identify and anticipate strategic, operational, financial, regulatory, and reputational risks that could affect business goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's or advanced degree in a related scientific or healthcare field preferred
Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification is preferred.
Familiarity with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management software.
2+ years of experience in clinical or medical research management
Strong knowledge of IRB processes, GCP guidelines, and FDA regulations
Proven leadership and team management experience in a research setting
Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills
Experience with research data management systems and clinical trial software
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
