Clinical Quality Supervisor

Position Summary

As a Clinical Quality Supervisor at Blackbird Health, you will lead clinical quality assurance and professional development across our therapy team while maintaining a direct care caseload of patients. You will provide clinical supervision, conduct regular note and chart audits, mentor clinicians, and support learning and development initiatives to ensure the highest standards of evidence-based care. We are seeking a Pennsylvania LCSW qualified to provide clinical supervision who thrives at raising clinical standards, coaching providers, and delivering compassionate pediatric psychotherapy. This is a fully remote position.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Clinical Quality & Chart Auditing

• Review Notes & Charting: Conduct regular quality reviews of clinical notes, treatment plans, diagnostic assessments, and discharge summaries to ensure compliance, clinical accuracy, and high standards of care.
• Maintain Quality Standards: Establish and monitor clinical care benchmarks, using chart audit findings to identify trends, mitigate risk, and drive continuous clinical improvement.

Supervision & Learning Development

• Provide Clinical Supervision: Deliver individual and group supervision to assigned therapists, supporting case conceptualization, risk management, and professional growth.
• Support Hiring, Onboarding & Training: Partner with leadership to hire and onboard new hires, train clinicians on Blackbird’s care model, documentation standards, and evidence-based practices.
• Deliver Ongoing Coaching: Provide constructive feedback and tailored instruction based on note audits and clinical performance reviews.

Direct Patient Care

• Deliver High-Quality Therapy: Provide evidence-based psychotherapy services (12-15 direct care clinical hours per week) to children, adolescents, and families.
• Integrated Care Collaboration: Work closely with specialty providers across disciplines to ensure comprehensive, whole-child treatment plans.

The Basics You’ll Need

• Active PA LCSW with qualifications to provide clinical supervision in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 3+ years of post-licensure clinical experience delivering psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families.
• Demonstrated experience conducting clinical supervision, chart audits, or clinical training/quality management.
• Expertise in evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT-informed, TF-CBT, etc.) and neurodiversity-affirming care.
