Clinical Integration Analyst - US Remote

Position Overview

The Clinical Integration Analyst designs, implements, and supports integrations between hospital clients’ clinical systems and the PerfectServe platform. The role serves as a subject matter expert on integration solutions and associated clinical workflows, partnering with customer technical and clinical resources and PerfectServe R&D throughout design, development, testing, and support.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for internal and external users regarding integration solutions and clinical workflow
• Partner with customer technical and clinical resources in designing and supporting integration solutions
• Work closely with R&D in the design, development, and testing of the backend integration domain
• Code HL7 interfaces within the interface engine and create flat-file integrations using SSIS packages in Microsoft SQL
• Coordinate technical resources to implement third-party API integrations
• Perform data validation on new data feeds and regression validation with each QA and Production release
• Support and troubleshoot production integrations and establish integration support structure between customer IT and PerfectServe
• Create and maintain documentation; coordinate VPN and sFTP setup; plan and perform interface engine upgrades and failover; participate in after-hours call rotation

Qualifications

• Clinical degree and licensure (Associate or Bachelor’s)
• Minimum 5+ years in a Clinical IT role with enterprise-wide implementation and support experience
• Proven experience implementing integrations using HL7 standards; strong understanding of hospital operations and workflow
• Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, SQL Server Management Studio, and Lucidchart
• Excellent written and oral communication and critical thinking skills; able to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Preferred: FHIR APIs, WCTP integrations, JSON-based API requests (Swagger/Postman), and multiple HIT vendor experience
• Candidates must be located within the US or Canada and willing to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Travel up to 10% or as required

This position requires interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting. In order to best service our customers on the phone, face-to-face, or on the computer, all employees must be able to communicate with or without reasonable accommodation. We offer a salary range of $105,000-$115,000 USD per year, with compensation tailored to your background, strengths, and potential to grow within the team.
