Position Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and leading all aspects of a project. This includes initial client discussions, developing project requirements, documentation, and coordinating all project activities through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery of all technical and service aspects for client projects.
- Determine and assess study requirements.
- Maintain continuous communication with internal departments and external customers.
- Initiate involvement of relevant departments to ensure high-quality work.
- Attend and represent the business at Project Meetings and kick-off meetings.
- Facilitate customer teleconferences, visits, and audits.
- Drive Problem Reports to closure with Quality Assurance/Regulatory personnel.
- Translate customer needs into quotations and monitor budgets.
- Provide accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
- Verify final production information for Accounting before invoice release.
- Participate in business process improvement activities.
- Collaborate with the account manager to guarantee customer happiness.
- Apply Good Manufacturing Principles in all areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrate and promote the company vision.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Understand and use SOPs required by company quality standards.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong customer management skills.
- Knowledge of internal systems associated with projects.
Experience required of/in:
- Accredited degree, preferably in a health-related field.
- 3 years of successful clinical trial project management experience.
- In-depth understanding of clinical trials.
- Effective interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in personal computer applications.
- Proven experience with customers in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Proficiency in fundamental Project Management concepts.
Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a cold environment on occasion.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to use a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
- 10-25% travel as needed.
